Roy Davis has over 35 years experience in business and consumer marketing, communications and business planning and has founded and developed several successful entrepreneurial businesses.

He was a Selkirk Scholar at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College in London, where he achieved an honors degree in metalliferous mining.  He practiced as a Mining Engineer, mining gold and silver in Colorado and Ontario before returning to London and enteringthe world of journalism.  He quickly established himself at IPC first as Editor of Ground Engineering, then as Editor of International Construction and finally as Editor-in-Chief of INCO, the largest house magazine in the world.  Subsequently, International Nickel Company of Canada (INCO) appointed him Head of European Marketing.

In the 1980's he moved into the mainstream of advertising and PR, holding senior roles at TB Browne, Burson Marsteller, J Walter Thompson and Geers Gross; first as copywriter and then as an Account Director.  While at Marsteller he was awarded the prestigious DADA industry award for copywriting.  He founded Short, Curnow and Cuthbert and merged it to form MediaPlus International (MPI), one of the foremost independent global media specialists in London.  He stayed as Managing Director of MPI for over ten years.  More recently he founded and was Managing Director of Central Media Services, Prism Media, and Central Communications Business.  Roy is still acknowledged as one of the world's leading experts on international brand development, global strategic marketing and integrated international media planning.

Roy's marketing career includes work with many global brands e.g. IBM, Cable & Wireless, RCA Semiconductors, Motorola, Sikorsky, Cincinnati Milacron, United Technologies, Occidental Oil, De Beers, Dupont de Nemours, AMEX, InterContinental Hotels, Ramada Inns, Control Data, Digital Equipement Corporation, Samsung, Epson, Corning Medical, Seagrams, Dewers, Merchant Ivory, Wembley Stadium, Guiness, Scrabble, Barclays, Citbank, Bank of America, British Petrolium, Rockwell, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, BMW, Yamaha, Lucky Goldstar (LG), Massey Fergeson, Ingersoll Rand, and many more.

In the early 90's he was a founder of a technology company, Specialix International, and in the late 90's he switched to online business as a founder of Easyodds.com, and in 2002 it was back to technology as a founder and director of RedHand Software.  In 2004, when RedHand was sold to a US group, he relocated from London to Las Vegas to become CEO of the new corporation.  In 2006 having launched Secure Blue in the US, Roy handed it over to its new owners and returned to mining when, together with two partners, he founded Uranium Exploration Corporation.

Roy's unique combination of high-profile client, agency, media and international business expertise together with his diverse communications talents, operational skills and understanding of technology and engineering, enable him to be truly original and creative.  This shows exceptionally well in his approach to strategic planning and implementations across a wide range of markets and territories.  He is frequently invited to evaluate new business strategies and to facilitate funding for a diverse range of projects in equally diverse industries ranging from technology, medicine, energy, travel and consumer products and services through to entertainment and mining.
