Keith A. Newman

Keith Newman brings a wealth of talent and experience to all his endeavors.  Consistently successful in Sales, Marketing and Business Development, Keith’s executive experience spans multiple industries including Media, Consumer, and Business-to-Business.  Specializing in technology marketing with a focus on strategic selling and partnering, Keith creates high impact marketing strategies and tactical programs that drive brand awareness.

Expert in developing innovative Go-to-Market initiatives, channel strategies, and demand and lead generation programs that bring quick action and high ROI to his clients, Keith also has become a renowned sage in the emerging Social Media arena with his strategic focus and viral execution tactics.

 Key to Keith’s success has been a combination of early market selling, channel strategy and recruitment, and creative social media implementations.  His skill and experience as a writer and journalist enables him to develop core messaging and market concepts that help clients achieve exciting results.  The result is that he is able to connect products and services with target audiences in such a way that brings higher levels of sales and goal achievements to ensure a strong return on investment.

Keith’s resume reads like a who’s who of media – IDG, CMP, and Ziff-Davis, as well as emerging technology such as Aptimus, OneChannel, and N-Computing.  As Editor and Publisher of CMP’s Computer Retail Week, Keith brought a fresh look and easy view to the complexities of the new computer retail marketplace.  At IDG he assumed the role of President of their Channel Services Group coordinating the vastly differing elements of the value-added channels infrastructure.  And in varying roles at several high-tech startups OneChannel, Aptimus, N-Computing and PodTech he was successful in assisting with securing funding and developing numerous strategic alliances and business partnerships to help with the launch of those company’s businesses.

Currently busy in several venues though his own Newman Media consulting group, he brings a results-driven approach to marketing and business development projects helping technology and media companies increase brand, lead generation, and bottom line performance.  Some of his latest projects include working with Contact Centers of America and VidMin, where he is developing high impact solutions for developing viral video campaigns through the use of email and social media sites.

Mr. Newman is a graduate of San Diego State University-California State University, and has completed graduate work with special programs in marketing and media at Stanford University.  He is also a Board Member of the Foundation for the Future which brings together leading thinkers and experts from multiple disciplines to study important issues that will have an impact on the long-term future of humanity.
